The Northern Bullants have gone down by 45 points to the reigning premiers.

The Northern Bullants have been unable to capitalise on a close first half against Werribee, defeated by 45 points in the final game of the 2025 season.
The Tigers started strong with two quick goals, before Will Elliott snagged the Bullants' first goal after seven minutes, followed by a second just five minutes later.
Down by seven points at the first break, it was Elliott who managed a third goal to close the margin down to two points early in the second term, before Werribee were able to get two more of their own and make it a 14-point margin at half-time.
From this point, the Ants weren't able to find many chances, kicking just one behind in the third quarter. An early fourth term goal from Charlie Faubel gave home fans something to cheer about, but four straight Werribee games sealed the win for the reigning premiers.
The game did end on a high note, as 100-gamer Jean-Luc Velissaris kicked a goal late in the game, bringing the final margin to 45 points.
JL himself finished with 20 disposals, with Patrick Fairlie and Liam Coghlan both strong at 27 touches each, plus skipper Liam Mackie with 23 of his own.
